On Tuesday evening, 7 St Thomas More students joined with 3 children from the parish to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. I was wonderful to see the way these students turned back to God and sought to restore their friendship with Him. I ask all families to keep these children in your prayers as they continue their faith journey as part of our parish. A special thank you to Mrs Tippett and Mrs Ryan for so carefully preparing the students, Mrs Achmad for her work in organising the celebration and Fr Mat for his work in helping these children come closer to God.

A very warm welcome back to all of our children, parents and carers for Term 3. I hope you all were able to spend some quality time with your family during this break. It was really lovely to see so many smiling faces on Tuesday as the children walked into the school grounds.

As we near the end of a disrupted and challenging term, what has been wonderful to see is the continued learning and engagement of the students. I feel there is still a lot to be grateful for, with the continuing improvement of the COVID-19 in our state which has resulted in many more opportunities for the children to participate in over the course of the term.
