The Vine 2022 – Issue 04

Thank you to those parents who have been abiding by the protocols for schools around parents being on-site, wearing masks and not being able to come into the classrooms. I understand that this can be difficult, particularly when dealing with pastoral issues relating to your child, so I appreciate your support with this.

Thank you to all the parents and caregivers who have been supportive in following the protocols put upon us about parents at school. Just a reminder to parents, at this stage, parents are not permitted in the classrooms, nor can meet face to face with teachers. I ask that if you need to discuss your child or their progress, you do so via phone, email or through an online meeting.

After a wonderful first week, with the students making new friends and being in their new classes, it has been fantastic to see the way they have settled and gotten on with the important job of learning. We welcomed our new group of 3 Year Old Kindy students and those new families into our school community. We got used to wearing masks inside the classrooms and checking in when we came onto the school grounds.

Welcome to the new school year! It has been so lovely to see the many smiling faces of the children as they walk into the school grounds each morning this week. I hope our families had a wonderful break over the Christmas period, where you were able to spend some quality time with loved ones. We welcome some new families to our schools: The Holland, De Marchi, Sewell, Bautista, Clarke, Staveley, Johnston, Dazley, Green, Williams, Harding, Evans, Keen, McDonald and Franca families. I am sure they will all be made to feel welcome as part of our Tommy More community.
