Last Friday afternoon we were finally able to enjoy our postponed Colour Run and Father’s Day Sundowner – and what a fantastic afternoon it was! The oval was a sea of colour, laughter and smiles as students, dads, grandads, uncles, mums and older siblings ran together, embracing every burst of colour thrown their way.
A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us for our Learning Journey afternoon on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many families engaged in conversations with their children, as the students proudly explained the learning they have been involved in throughout the term.
Tomorrow, our Year 3-6 students will be participating in our Faction Cross Country carnival. The children have been practising for this and we look forward to seeing them in action. The event kicks off at 1:20pm with our Year 6 Boys event and should conclude by about 2:30pm. We invite parents and friends to come along and cheer the students on in this carnival. The top 5 students from each event will then go on to represent our school at the Interschool Carnival on Friday 19th September.
Yesterday, our Year 6 class travelled to Lumen Christi Church in Augusta to participate in a retreat reflecting on the Sacrament of Confirmation. The students had a wonderful time completing different activities involving reflection, arts and liturgy.
