Yesterday, the school community gathered with parents and parishioners to celebrate the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday Mass. The Year 6 students led us beautifully and it was wonderful to see the students participate so reverently and prayerfully. Fr Mat asked the students to think about ways they could support others who are less fortunate than themselves. Hopefully each of the students can come up with different ways to support others who don’t have basics, such as food, clothing or shelter.

It was fantastic to see so many parents come along and meet other new and existing parents at the Morning Tea last Friday morning. Many thanks to all the parents who supplied some food and stayed to welcome these new families. It was a wonderful way to continue to build the great community we have here at St Thomas More!
