School Advisory Council
The Catholic School Advisory Council (SAC) is established to plan for the present and future operation of the school, to endorse all finances associated with the school and to advise the Principal with respect to school policy that has any financial implications. The School Advisory Council comprises of the Principal and Parish Priest (ex officio members), four elected persons from the school community, one person nominated by the Parents and Friends Association (P&F) and a member appointed from the parish.
Chairman’s Report 2021
This year the school board saw some structural changes – and we’ve moved from being a Board, to an advisory council. As a group, during this year we have worked on and implemented the new Terms of Reference. The model has changed, and now sees our group as being more of a support/advisory to the principal, rather than a decision-making body.
