Physical Education at St Thomas More

All students from Kindergarten through to Year 6 participate in Physical Education sessions with a specialist teacher for at least one session each week. There is a strong focus on skill development and an understanding of a range of sports.

Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to participate in Intraschool faction Carnivals and represent St Thomas More in a range of Interschool carnivals.

All students are placed in one of our four factions:

More (Blue) – named after St Thomas More

MacKillop (Red) – named after St Mary MacKillop

Sorahan (Gold) – named after the first parish priest of St Thomas More, Rev. Fr. Sorahan

Richardson (Green) – named after Sr Imeldine Richardson, one of the first nuns in the parish of St Thomas More
