Welcome to St Thomas More Catholic Primary School.

We are a welcoming and inclusive school with strong connections to the wider Margaret River community. Established in 1993, our single-stream, co-educational school caters to students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We take pride in fostering a warm and friendly environment where every child is at the heart of our educational approach. With small class sizes, our passionate and dedicated teachers tailor learning experiences within a Catholic faith-centred setting to meet each student’s individual needs.

We place a strong emphasis on academic achievement through quality instruction, explicit teaching, collaboration and 21st-century learning practices that encourage creativity and higher-order thinking skills. Working closely with families, we ensure that each child is nurtured in all aspects of their development—spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally.

In our future-focused and learning environment, we offer a range of specialist programs, including Music and the Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Indonesian and AUSLAN. From Year 3 to Year 6, our 1:1 iPad program enhances learning opportunities across the curriculum. Literacy and Numeracy remain key focus areas, with targeted support programs such as MiniLit, MacqLit, Letters and Sounds, Spelling Mastery and our Learning Enrichment Academic Program (LEAP) catering to diverse learning needs.

Our contemporary school facilities include flexible learning spaces, a large oval, undercover areas, a nature playground, a vegetable garden and a chicken coop. Additionally, we offer a Vacation Care service during school holidays to support our families.
